That Nigga

Joey’s new album is laced with multiple socially conscious and concept focused records that deal with the climate of our country. While I recognize the importance of this album many of the records are not what I like Joey for. “Ring The Alarm” however is a nice break from the smooth vibe of the album and gives listeners the aggression and hunger that I love Joey for. Joey drops one last single before the April 7th release of his sophomore effort All AmeriKKKan Bada$$. “Rockabye Baby” is a dark and ominous track that finds Q and Joey aggressively spitting over the instrumental, touching on political issues, and spinning stories of poverty. Listen below.

Pro Era

Joey has been vocal about how great he feels this new project is and the 12 song track list has some features that pretty much guarantee it. Im most excited to hear the contributions from Styles P, J. Cole, Meechy Darko and Schoolboy Q as well as 7 solo efforts on the album as well. April 7th cant come soon enough.

In honor of MLK Day Joey delivers the first single from his upcoming project AABA. The socially conscious record comments on Trumps presidency and the ideology that he feels America has been built on, which to sum it up is to keep minorities suppressed mentally, economically, and physically.
